My Weekend: Lush Autumn Bath Bombs, a Cat, and Studying

Hello lovelies!

I am currently studying my life away as my midterms start tomorrow. However, I decided to write a blog post to show you what I have been up to this weekend!

On Friday, I went home to visit my family. I was so happy that I was able to spend some time with them this weekend. Saturday morning, my mum and I went to Lush since I have not been in a couple of months. Living in a small college town has some perks, but being so far away from a Lush store is not one of the perks. I purchased two of the new bath bombs Lush created for autumn. I bought the new Northern Lights and Lord of Misrule bath bombs. My face is breaking out in stress acne so I also bought my all-time favorite Lush fresh face mask: Catastrophe Cosmetics.

(Warning: Lush bath bomb spoilers below – read at your own risk!)

After going shopping with my mum, we went back to our house so I could pack up to leave again for my college town. I jammed to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” on repeat almost all the way there.

Back at my apartment, I studied and procrastinated with my roommate Marissa and our (temporary) cat, Katy. Katy is one of the sassiest cats I have ever met. I honestly think she could become a meme like Grumpy Cat.

Marissa had to go to a local play last night, so Katy and I had the entire apartment to ourselves. I played with this silly cat for awhile before giving myself a pampering session. I tested the Northern Lights bath bomb first because the sparkly stars on the top drew me in. Plus, this bath bomb has a unique cylinder shape unlike other ones. The results were ah-mazing.

The next time I am in Lush I will be stocking up on the Northern Lights bath bomb. Different colors of glitter exploded from both ends of the bath bomb. The fragrance reminded me of Lush’s Sex Bomb but a tad bit sweeter. There were enough bubbles to not need assistance from a bubble bar. The end result was a beautiful purple color with a light amount of bubbles.

After I finished my beautiful bath, I decided also treat my face. I started off by cleansing and exfoliating my face. I used Lush’s Ultrabland to cleanse my face and then followed up by exfoliating my face with Lush’s Ocean Salt. Finally, I used my new fresh face mask and left it on for approximately 15 minutes before washing it off.

I don’t even know why I took this. But here we are.

For the rest of the weekend, I proceeded to study my life away and procrastinate studying more by writing this post.

How was everyone’s weekend?

Love,

Larisa Rose
